Psychological thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a man investigating the death of an inmate at a psychiatric facility called Shutter Island. Upon closer inspection, he realises that all is not as it seems. Very tense altogether.

Everyone’s talking about… The Saturday Night Show

The long-running chat show officially came to an end last night. After a slightly uncomfortable interview with chef Dylan McGrath and a chat with John Lyons, Brendan O’Connor signed off for the final time, saying:

The most important thing is that I would like to thank all the people who came on here and told their stories over the last five years, because I think if there is one thing we’ve learnt in this country in the last few years, is that whether it’s about medical cards, or mental health, or sexuality, or disability – people telling their own stories… and a lot of people don’t want to do it, they’re private people… people telling their own stories can change everything.

The Saturday Night Show first aired in 2010 and served as a replacement for Tubridy Tonight.

It is expected that RTÉ’s new sign Ray D’Arcy will take the Saturday night slot later this year. (TheJournal.ie)
